8,000 year old children's grave discovered in Indonesia

He discovered a juvenile grave that lived 8,000 years ago in Indonesia and was the first of its kind.

In the discovery made by archaeologists in Makpan Cave on Alor Island in Indonesia, a child's grave, estimated to be 4-8 years old, was found 8,000 years ago.

The boy's cheeks were discovered painted in red ocher, in line with the funeral traditions of that period.

In the statement made by the archaeologists, it was stated that the arm and leg bones of the child were exhumed during the funeral ceremonies of that period.  Archaeologists estimate that this rare tomb, the first of its kind, will provide a lot of information about the period.
